Escape to Laguna Beach
I've lived in Southern California all my life and never explored Laguna Beach. This small and dreamy beach town feels like you're on a tropical island with it's multi-shades of blue waters, palm trees and unforgettable sunsets. It's the best idea for a weekend away. We spent two days on PCH eating, drinking and staring at the ocean.
Stay
Pacific Edge Hotel - We stayed at this beachy boutique hotel just off PCH. The hotel itself is small but the rooms are comfortable and embody the relaxed, youthful SoCal vibe of the area.
Montage Resort & Spa - The rooms here are on the pricer end but we definetely stopped for drinks, apps and the view.
The Inn at Laguna Beach - A charming inn with ocean views walking distance to everything.
Eat & Drink
Skyloft - From the outside, the building looks more like a fancy restaurant but once you're on their rooftop, the setting is casual with a great brunch and ocean views.
The Deck - The restaurant connected to Pacific Edge Hotel, where we stayed. Make a reservation ahead as this is one of the most popular restaurants in the area.
The Cliff at Laguna Village - Hidden inside Laguna village, this restaurant screams Santorini, Greece wit it's all white walls and tiny shops.
Chantilly Ice Cream - The best ice cream in town. Grab a cone, walk across the street and sit down on the grass or one of the benches at the beach.
See
Victoria Beach Pirate Tower - Essentially a castle on the beach. That's right, a castle on the beach. Enough said!
Crystal Cove - Breathtaking beach views.
Art galleries - The street is lined with art galleries each with their own theme.
